This Victorian pier provides essential access to visitors arriving on the Isle of Wight, from Portsmouth. Built in the 1840s, it is the second longest pier in the country, stretching out across the wide sand flats to reach deep water and allowing ferries to berth at its head. It also offers a railway link along its length, eight miles to the resort of Shanklin.
Excellent layers photography! The sky, the cloud, the pier, the water, and the shore, just an awesome view!
