Welcome back. You’ve been a long time gone.
Your photograph saddened me because I had to throw a lifetime’s tools away when my husband died – no one I approached wanted them. I didn’t ‘throw them away’ as in throwing them in the rubbish, I gav e them to a charity shop hoping someone would find a use for them.
Your photograph also reminded me of the many years I spent writing about wood-carvers and sculptors and the photographs I used to take of the tools of their trade. Thank you for that reminder.
